Nylon (Polyamide) 3-strand twisted ropes

One of the strongest and most elastic rope fibres available . Nylon absorbs greater shock load than any other fibre, outlasts all natural fiber ropes by a wide margin, and withstands dynamic loads that will break other ropes. Nylon is resistant to most acids, alkalis and organic solvents, including petroleum products. This virtue, allied with its ability to hamper marine plant and animal growth, makes nylon the ideal choice for the petrochemical and marine industries. Nylon will not rot, thus it can be stored wet.

Nylon 3-strand ropes are ideally suited to use as anchor and dock lines, hawsers, mooring lines, safety & rescue lines, towing & general purpose applications and as surge pendants. The ropes are particularly well suited to applications where a high strength rope is required that has excellent dynamic load resistance.

Nylon ropes are also available in an 8-plait weave.

Nylon ropes are available in standard coils of 600 and 720 feet, on or off plastic reels, labelled and plastic wrapped. Other lengths available on request, as are specific colours/ patterns. Merchandising displays and retail rope centres also available.
